HOME BUILDERS FOUNDATION AND THRIVE HOME BUILDERS ANNOUNCE 2019 INSPIRATION HOUSE PARTNERSHIP

DENVER, CO - November 2019— The Home Builders Foundation (HBF) recently announced the re-launch of the “Inspiration House,” a fundraising initiative in partnership with a home builder and their trades where a portion of the proceeds from the sale are donated to support home modifications for individuals with disabilities. This year, Thrive Home Builders along with 15 of their trade partners, have volunteered to support the HBF’s initiative with a home in the Stapleton community.
“For more than 25 years we have been making the dream of owning a home a reality for families in Metro Denver and beyond,” said Thrive Home Builder’s CEO and Founder Gene Myers. “We are delighted to be part of the re-launch of the Inspiration House initiative and partnering with our trades, as well as the Home Builders Foundation, to make a difference in the lives of families living with disabilities in our community.”
The Inspiration House project was initially implemented five years prior to the economic downturn. This year, the project is being restarted to help raise the critical funds needed for the HBF to fulfill their mission to build independence and elevate lives.
Fifteen of Thrive’s trade partners volunteered to support this effort and include:
• 4M Connection
• Arlun, Incorporated
• Artistic Caulking Inc.
• Cowboy Stucco
• EnergyLogic, Inc.
• Front Range Windows and Door, Inc.
• G&C Construction Inc.
• Jeffrey Cohen dba Quality Wood Repair
• Lou's Premium Painting, LLC
• Pure Green Landscaping LLC.
• Sitewise, LLC
• South Valley Drywall, Inc.
• Specialty Appliance, Inc
• Steel T Heating, Inc.
• Van Dyk Construction
“The HBF is elated to restart the Inspiration House program and to partner with Thrive Home Builders and their trade base to raise critical funds for our program,” said HBF Executive Director, Beth Forbes. “We are grateful for Thrive’s leadership on this initiative and look forward to the great community impact it will provide.”

HBF has seen a significant rise in demand as more people with long term physical disabilities are requesting services. Since the last Inspiration House in 2007, the HBF has increased the number of home modifications from 39 projects annually to more than 120 recipients in 2019.
The Inspiration House is scheduled to be completed in December. Learn more about HBF and follow the progress of the Inspiration House by visiting HBFDenver.org or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
