Role Overview:
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead design projects from concept through execution, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present innovative design concepts tailored to client needs and preferences.
- Oversee all phases of interior design projects, including space planning, materials selection, and color palettes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that designs are delivered on schedule and within scope.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality during implementation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technology to incorporate into design solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a robust portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- NCIDQ certification or similar credentials is a plus.
