Job Description
Laurelless is a concierge contracting firm delivering deeply personal, thoughtfully designed, and obsessively well-managed remodels from concept to completion. We specialize in whole-home renovations, luxury kitchens, and custom spaces across the Denver Metro Area and we've built our reputation on a simple promise: we will never betray the client's trust. Every decision, every dollar, every detail exists to serve that commitment. If we can't do it right, we won't do it. That is the soul of Laurelless.
We build trust before we build walls. Our vision is to be the most trusted name in remodeling for people who expect more from the experience, the process, and the people. We are a small but elite team committed to craftsmanship, process, and purpose, and we surround ourselves with people who give a damn. We don't operate around egos or job titles. We show up for the mission, for the team, and for the legacy we're building together.
Laurelless isn't just a name. It's a standard. We don't have laurels to rest on. It's how we work, every day. Built on a culture of excellence, confidence, ownership, and service that starts from within, we believe in doing it right the first time, going the extra inch, and leading with trust. If that doesn't come naturally to you, you won't thrive here. But if it does, you'll never want to leave.
Are you Laurelless?
About the Role:
We are looking for a Foreman who raises the bar on every job site they walk onto. If you're the kind of person who other tradespeople genuinely respect, who clients remember, and who makes a PM's job easier just by being present then keep reading.
Our Foreman is the hands-on, day-to-day expert on job sites, a remodeling pro and skilled carpenter (rough and finish) who takes extreme pride in the details. This role is responsible for upholding the Laurelless promise: if we can't do it right, we don't do it. Your work directly impacts the trust our clients place in us.
Our projects typically range from $150K–$350K renovations, some larger, occasionally smaller. You'll manage one to two active projects at a time, working closely with a dedicated Project Manager and a trusted network of subcontractors.

We believe the best Project Managers are built from the field up, and we're looking for someone with that potential and the drive to grow into it.

What you’ll do:
- Perform hands-on work daily to drive project progression, from rough carpentry and framing to finish work, and all punch list details. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role.
- Manage the daily operations of each job site and communicate progress to the Project Manager to ensure expectations are clearly understood and executed.
- Provide access and coordination for crews, subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule.
- Precisely mark demolition, rough-in, and trim-out locations to minimize rework, delays, and callbacks.
- Manage in-house labor and our trusted subcontractor network on a daily basis and hold everyone to the Laurelless standard.
- Ensure job sites are secure, clean, and organized at the end of each day, maintaining safe and professional working conditions throughout.
- Maintain a strong pulse on day-to-day project progression through proactive communication, detailed daily logs, and thorough photo documentation.
- We believe most subcontractors do 90% of the work - so, we prepare the first 5% and fulfill the final 5% to allow for successful forward momentum. You own both ends and sometimes things in between.
- Uphold quality control on every job site. You set the Laurelless standard for our team and our subcontractors alike, no exceptions. Leadership has trust and confidence on progression because you are on-site.
- Proactively procure materials and equipment. Last-minute runs happen, but you use those moments to identify inefficiencies and make the next project better.
- Read and interpret plans, sketches, and specifications to determine construction requirements, prepare project layouts, and identify materials needed.
- Identify discrepancies between plans and actual site conditions and then create and implement the best solutions without sacrificing quality.
- Participate in client walk-throughs with professionalism and care. You are the face of Laurelless on the job site.
Who you are:
- You own the outcome. Regardless of the obstacle, all problems have solutions, and you lead from every seat.
- You are the face of Laurelless on every job site. You hold yourself and everyone around you to a professional standard that clients notice and remember.
- You understand that remodels rarely go exactly to plan. You're a master at adapting and overcoming with steady focus. No drama, no excuses.
- You listen carefully to clients, vendors, and subs, and make smart decisions, not quick ones, that move the project forward without sacrificing quality.
- You're action-oriented. You don't just identify problems, you fix them.
- You think beyond the task in front of you. Every decision you make supports the long-term growth and reputation of Laurelless.
- You believe clarity is kind. You over-communicate where others assume, document what matters, and eliminate ambiguity before it breeds confusion. If it was said verbally and it matters, it gets followed up in writing, clearly, professionally, and promptly.
- You lead your crew through clarity, direction, and consistent follow-up and not through ego or force.
- You're proactive. You can see what's coming and prepare before it becomes a problem and you stay calm when plans shift. You pivot fast, keep the job on track, and bring others with you.
- You're detail-driven. You take pride in executing to a high standard, every time.
- You're curious and growth-minded. You ask questions, stay open to learning, and never assume you already know everything. Complacency isn't in your vocabulary.
- You choose to do what's right for the business, never what's easy or convenient.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and construction. Ideal candidates have carpentry skills (rough and finish) and understand all other general trades work.
- A portfolio showcasing your building, finish carpentry, and any other standout work.
- IRC & ICC code knowledge, you are a construction expert and you know how things are supposed to be built.
- Experience reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong command of construction sequencing and you think at least three steps ahead.
- JobTread or similar construction management software experience - we use JobTread daily.
- Strong written communication skills: proper grammar, organized follow-ups, and the ability to document important conversations clearly and concisely.
- The ability to build genuine relationships with trade partners, vendors, and clients. Laurelless runs on trust and great connections.
- The physical ability to do this job the right way: lifting 50+ lbs, working on your feet, and showing up ready to work every day.
- A sense of humor and the ability to build real camaraderie with the team. We celebrate wins together.
