Norris Design Promotes and Hires Staff in Denver, Frisco
Denver, Colo. – Norris Design, a national planning, landscape architecture and branding firm, has announced the promotion of Ellie Nyquist to Associate in the Denver office and the promotion of Andrew Rostek to Associate in the Frisco office. The firm has also announced the hiring of Senior Associate John Lewis and Associates Caroline Rice and Lindsay Martin in the Denver office.
Ellie Nyquist is a landscape designer who joined Norris Design in 2016. Her work focuses on single family housing, multifamily housing, and parks and recreation projects. Her current projects include The Aurora Highlands single family housing development and the EagleVail East End Recreation Master Plan. Ellie moved to the Norris Design Fort Collins office in May where she will lead projects focused on urban art and advocacy for pollinator habitats.
Andrew Rostek, PLA joined the Norris Design in 2016 as a landscape designer. Andrew has worked on a variety of projects at Norris Design, focusing on affordable housing, multifamily housing, resort and hotel developments, municipal projects and master planning. His current projects include affordable housing development Alta Verde, multifamily housing development Elan Pike’s Peak, the A-Lift Neighborhood resort development, the Foote’s Rest hotel and the West Glacier Master Plan.
As an information technology (IT) professional, John Lewis has more than 25 years of experience. His day-to-day responsibilities at Norris Design include systems management, troubleshooting and special projects. He is currently preparing for staff to return to Norris Design offices. Prior to joining the firm, John was a business owner and chief technologist for a small IT services firm.
Caroline Rice is a brand strategist who specializes in packaging design, brand campaign development and hospitality brand creation. With more than eight years of experience, Caroline’s current projects include the Foote’s Rest hotel brand strategy and identity development, and the RainDance Resort vision development. Caroline gives a guest lecture on branding each semester at New York University.
Lindsay Martin is a graphic designer with more than 11 years of experience focusing on outdoor/athletic equipment and apparel, and freelance projects for builders. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Colorado Chapter. Lindsay’s current projects include focusing on visual and verbal identity for master planned communities and visual branding for The Water Valley Company.
