Continuing Education: Lighting Control Illuminated with SaaviHome!

SaaviHome is now offering multiple educational courses designed to help design and build professionals strengthen their working knowledge of residential technology systems and possibly earn continuing education credit. Educating architects, building designers, builders, interior designers, and remodelers on ways to increase their business through home technology is top priority for the SaaviHome team!

These educational sessions were developed by CEDIA, a residential electronic systems industry trade organization of which SaaviHome is a member.

 

As a CEDIA Outreach Instructor, SaaviHome offers course titles including Shade and Window Treatments Overview – Motorize, Integrate and Automate and Designing to Disguise: The Art of Hiding Technology, among others. These courses are designed for architects, homebuilders, remodelers, interior designers, building designers and related professionals.
 

Course Description

Lighting control has become a standard in new construction and existing retrofit solutions...those who have it love it and wonder how they ever lived without it! Attendees will be active participants in discussion surrounding common misperceptions, features, and lighting control design considerations.

Intended Audience

This course is intended for architects, building designers, interior designers, builders, remodelers, and other professionals within the design and build industry. Participants will walk away from this course with a basic understanding of lighting control terminology, and the benefits and solutions related to lighting control—presented in simple, easy to understand language.

Course Approval Information

- This course is registered with the AIA CES for continuing professional education. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by the AIA of any material of construction or any method or manner of handling, using, distributing, or dealing in any material or product.

-This CEU is registered with the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) for continuing education credits. This credit will be accepted by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Designers Association (IIDA) and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). About the Instructor

Gavin Lantzy of SaaviHome is CEDIA Certified Outreach Instructor. He has 15+ years of construction and home technology experience and has worked with countless industry professionals in designing and implementing seamless technology solutions for both residential and smaller commercial spaces. His speaking background includes organizing, leading, and speaking at training seminars for hundreds of entrepreneurs.
