Recruiter (Academy Program Participant Candidate Outreach and Recruitment)

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide career support services for Academy graduates by performing the following:
·        Provide Recruitment of program participants/students for all Academy Programs – With primary focus on Adult Construction Skills Bootcamp
·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with Community and Industry Organization which can refer students to the Academy
·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with student candidates and enrolled students
·        Outreach and Representation for the Academy at Community and Industry Events, Cooperative Programs and Job Fairs to recruit program participants and to create awareness of Academy programs.
·        Follow existing Recruitment program process – from response to Passive Engagement Outreach to Active Engagement Steps (1st Contact, Info Session Management, Application Process, Career Explore Interview to Enrollment)
·        Actively utilize Zoho CRM software for comprehensive collection and maintenance of student candidate database and for active follow-up systems, on-going recruitment, follow-up communication and survey work
·        Provide ongoing support to program participants and graduates to ensure successful program completion and employment (Assist as needed in 3 Step follow-up system for student retention)
·        Work collaboratively with Marketing Coordinator, Program Coordinator for outreach to enrollment

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
·        Career Recruitment and Coaching experience or related experience required (3 years related industry experience preferred)
·        Strong computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
·        Experience providing employment, counseling and mentoring services
·        Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
·        Ability to follow detailed processes and instruction
·        Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
          Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Physical Requirements:
·        Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
·        Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
·        Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
·        Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
