Job Description
We are a professional grade remodeler focusing on full window and siding replacement projects across the Colorado Front Range. We are seeking to hire a full-time, commission-based salesperson as an employee. This hands-on position will be responsible for overseeing and being accountable for the sale and project planning of residential remodeling and construction projects, whose operations are to be in compliance with CSR’s handbooks, policies and procedures. The Outside Salesperson will act as a representative for the company in a fashion that is in line with CSR company culture and values at all times. The Outside Salesperson will create a culture of superior service and coordination with members of the Colorado Siding Repair staff, CSR subcontractors, and through communication with CSR customers.   
First-year earnings are realistically $65-85k. Our top performers Do Make $150k+
Compensation: 100% Commission
Full-time position with health, dental, long, short term insurance, 401K matching program after 60-days.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
The following duties are an overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the Outside Sales person and should not be considered an all-inclusive list.
  1. Primary Duties:
    1. The Outside Salesperson’s primary duty is making sales, or obtaining orders or contracts for services and products.
    2. The Outside Salesperson will be customarily and regularly engaged away from CSR’s offices.
  2. General Duties:
    1. Prepare detailed drafts of sales contracts and project plans and designs.
    2. Communicate articulately about CSR services, culture and values.
    3. Consistently promote a professional image of CSR at all times.
    4. Promote Colorado Siding Repair’s values and culture.
    5. Be timely to all client and CSR meetings, remote or in-person 
    6. Demonstrate ‘Can-do’ attitude, willingness to roll up sleeves and be a team player.   
    7. Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills and follow-through.
    8. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  3. Sales Duties:
    1. Demonstrate responsibility for initial meetings with potential clients.
    2. Attend meetings with prospective clients to evaluate needs and develop a project.
    3. Assess client needs, educate the client on options and design.
    4. Develop project scope, timeline and budget, including preparation of complete cost estimates (labor, material and installation) for residential construction projects.
    5. Present proposal to client.  
    6. Work collaboratively with other team members, property owners, local vendors, and installers to ensure that project proposals are bid. appropriately, presented to the customer within an acceptable time frame, and produced accurately. 
    7. Coordinate calendar with Scheduling Coordinator to handle lead flow, including initial appointments and return appointments.
    8. Meet or exceed company-defined cost margins to develop project bids.
    9. Utilize project estimating software to develop and document cost estimates.
    10. Utilize project management software to develop and prepare project plans.
    11. Ensure successful project handoff to Production Team upon project acceptance.
    12. Demonstrate consistent, thorough and concise communication with all project stakeholders, from initial client meeting to project completion.
    13. Assist Production Team with maintaining detailed material and labor cost sheets.
    14. Serve as client advocate to the Production Team throughout the duration of the project.
    15. Continuous self-improvement through training, education, and career development.
    16. Commit to active membership in at least one networking organization with weekly meetings.
General Job Expectations: 
  1. A minimum of 4 years’ experience doing outside sales, preferably in residential construction/renovation or related field; design/build experience a plus
  2. Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  3. Ability to read and understand plans and specifications to include blueprints, engineering drawings, proposals, and other documents as they relate to the residential construction industry
  4. Bachelors or Associates degree in Construction/Project Management or related field a plus
  5. Familiarity with window and siding replacement highly desired
  6. Ability to stay motivated and self-directed work while working outside of the office.
  7. Regularly attend sales meetings at the Englewood office.
  8. Remain 100% available through the hours of 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, for ad-hoc meetings and client service.
  9. Available to occasionally work outside of normal business hours, as needed. 
  10. Proficiency in construction terminology.
  11. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when creating contracts and project plans.
  12. Effective interpersonal skills, including communicating in person, by e-mail and by telephone. 
  13. Ability to follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of people, and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
  14. Ability to work non-standard hours, including occasionally working evenings, weekends and holidays, as necessary to meet the needs of CSR. 
  15. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at a level adequate to perform the duties of the position. 
  16. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, subordinates, and outside vendors.
  17. Ability to pass background checks.
Working Conditions:
  1. This position predominantly involves out of office work with clients and on site.  
  2. Use of sensory activities such as talking, seeing, and hearing, will be required frequently.
  3. Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, squat, push, pull, pinch, grip, reach over head, reach away from body, and perform repetitive motions. 
  4. Ability to push and pull packages, and books weighing up to 20 pounds and ability to retrieve and replace objects from shelves of up to 8 feet high.  Ability to lift 50 pounds and push 50 pounds.
