Home Builders Foundation expanded its Board of Directors in 2026. New members joining the board are Chris Cobb, Gabe Daly, Ben Daniels, Chris Karnes, Mackenzie Leatherman, Adam McCartie, Chris O’Donnell, Abby Olsen and Kristen Soroko. These nine individuals join a board of 26 individuals from the home building industry, disability advocacy organizations, and community members from the greater Denver area.

  • Chris Cobb is the Director of Customer Care at Toll Brothers. Chris has participated on multiple HBF remodeling projects because he “really likes the work HBF does and wanted to be a part of giving back in any way I can”.
  • Gabe Daly is an Account Manager at Boise Cascade. Gabe first became involved with HBF as a crew member on a Blitz Build ramp. He continues to be involved because HBF is a cause he believes in, and he can help first-hand through products, sponsorship and individual participation.
  • Ben Daniels is the President of Centerline Framing. Ben first became involved with HBF building landings for vertical platform lifts. The interactions with clients were so enjoyable, that he wanted to join the board to continue to help with projects and sponsor events.
  • Tim Karns is the Director of Operations at TruMark. Tim joined HBF’s Project Fulfillment Committee and led a major remodel for Kevin O. in 2025. He decided to continue as a board member because he finds HBF’s work and impact “truly rewarding”.
  • Mackenzie Leatherman is a Division Manager at Rio Grande Co. Mackenzie is rejoining the board and “looking forward to jumping back into HBF, working together and impacting the lives of clients”.
  • Adam McCartie is the Market VP of Sales for Colorado Building Supply US LBM. Adam notes that participating with HBF has been a great journey meeting industry supporters and helping people along the way. “There is nothing better than completing a project and seeing how impactful it is to the client and their family”.
  • Chris O’Donnell is Business Development at Builders FirstSource. Chris has been involved with HBF for over 20 years, first getting involved to help others in needs through the industry that he loves. His favorite HBF moments are seeing a client use a ramp for the first time.
  • Abby Olsen is a Customer Care Area Manager for Lennar. Abby has always been passionate about giving back and helping people. At HBF, she loves figuring out the solution to an accessibility challenge and seeing the joy in people’s faces when clients have been helped.
  • Kristen Soroko is the Corporate Giving Program Office for Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA). Kristen became involved through her work at CHFA, a longtime financial supporter and Blitz Build crew. “CHFA has been a sponsor of HBF for a very long time because the work that HBF does aligns strongly with CHFA’s vision that everyone in Colorado should have the opportunity for housing stability and economic prosperity.”
